Hola!

Welcome to WanderBums! We are Nik Douglas and Ally Marfull, a couple of open minded 20 something year olds with a passion for travel currently working our way through Central/South America with the sole intention of learning from the world and the people that inhabit it.  So far we have spent time in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and now we are currently visiting Popoyo (Guasacate) a sleepy little surf town in the southern part of Nicaragua famous for it's world class waves.  The weather here will melt you as the average day has hovered around 40 degrees Celsius with humidity.  Luckily for us the beach is only a stone's throw away from our hostel which has kept us cool along with the aid of air conditioning in our room, oh how we can truly appreciate the modern conveniences in temperatures like these...The whole of our stay here in Nicaragua has been oriented around surfing, lounging about and relaxing as Ally and I are still shedding the fast paced lifestyle that we lived back in Toronto.  You can expect raw, uncensored accounts from our journey in the form of words, photos, and videos.  Dig it?  Now how many of you can guess how he got this?
